8 ply/ DK weight cotton yarn, light colour for the head, ears and arms, darker colour for the blanket and bow .
(Approximately 150-200m light, 80-100m dark)
*You can use whichever yarn you wish to use, but I recommend using an 8ply soft cotton, as it looks better on the head/ arms for amigurumi. If you would like to make the blanket softer, you can use another fiber yarn, as long as it is 8 ply. (I have used a cotton and acrylic blended yarn)
Black and pink embroidery thread ( I used DMC colour 778 for the pink thread)
4 mm G hook and 3.5mm E hook. (Or anything to obtain the gage of yarn used for this project)
Blanket size: 15 inches / 32 cm (corner to corner)
